Short answer: At the 140th Autumn Canton Fair, footwear is in Phase 3 (31 October – 4 November 2026). The Shoes section is in Area A — halls 1.2, 2.2, 3.2, 4.2, 5.2 and 3.1Y (see the official floor map). Phase 1 and Phase 2 are not the main shoe days.
When footwear is on show
- Phase 1: 15–19 October 2026 — not the footwear block.
- Phase 2: 23–27 October 2026 — still not the main shoe section.
- Phase 3: 31 October – 4 November 2026 — clothing, shoes, bags, textiles and related categories (official schedule).
- Rebuild days: around 20–22 and 28–30 October stands are reset — the Phase 3 shoe zone is not open then.
How first-time buyers find the shoe halls
- Register for a buyer badge on the official Canton Fair website before you travel.
- Go to the Pazhou complex (China Import and Export Fair Complex, Yuejiang Zhong Road).
- Enter Area A and look for Shoes in halls 1.2, 2.2, 3.2, 4.2, 5.2 and 3.1Y.
- Use the hall number as a check: many shoe halls sit on the .2 level in Area A. Confirm with the map at the entrance and the Phase 3 floor plan.
- Keep apparel (often .1) and Area D (toys / bags) separate from your shoe shortlist — different sourcing tasks.
At a booth, compare construction, materials and price talk. Before any deposit, you still need an agreed brief and a PPS sample.
A practical Phase 3 day
- Morning: Area A shoe halls — build a short shortlist only.
- Afternoon: review notes, photos and which factories to follow up.
- Same trip (optional): visit a Guangzhou showroom to compare samples side by side before you leave the city.
